    Hi,

I was supposed to get tickets for Ireland-Romania, but the tickets are North Terrace...
If you can offer 2 tickets for a decent price, I am sure we can work something out.

    Thanks in advance,
    Chris/.

There will be loads of tickets going spare for this game so do not offer over face value.

(obviously, anybody offering you tickets over face price on boards should be banned for touting)

I'm also on the lookout for tickets, anyone want to point a country lad in the right direction?

There'll be a load of spare tickets around the ground and selling for face value.

You'll definitely get them before the game - there were loads knocking around at face value on Saturday before kick off.

    Guys,

Thanks for your replies, but it does not give me any serious answers so far.
As it is a MUST WIN for Ireland and the North Terrace is still forbidden, it could be a full house and not that easy to get tickets...

If you know anyone, please, please let me know.
    Cheers,
    Christopheb/.

I had 2 spare tickets for Ireland -v- Australia and I couldn't even "give" them away to anybody! There will be 100's (if not 1000's) of spare tickets available around the stadium!

Another thing to note is that a lot of tickets were given to Leinster Rugby Clubs and everybody seems to have League match that afternoon... I know LOADS of people who will be playing with their club rather than going to Ireland -v- Romania...

'Rugby is a game for gentlemen of all classes, but not for a bad sportsman of any class.'

Oldie and a bit po-faced but still true.

I am originally looking for 2 tickets only, but if you give the 3 for the price of 2, I might be interested. Face value only BTW.

    Thanks,

Yeah that's the difference. The difference between supporting soccer and supporting rugby is all to do with attitude, not class.

Rugby is a game for gentlemen of all classes; soccer a game for lowlife of all classes.

Rugby internationals are watched by unsegregated crowds enjoying each other's banter and drinking with each other afterwards; soccer internationals are watched by rival supporters who are kept apart by official mandate.

Rugby internationals (and even HC games) are watched by people who take the time to enjoy the city and citizens they are visiting, and where they are usually welcome to do so; big soccer matches are watched by visitors who are frequently escorted from airport or train station to ground by police and not allowed to mingle outside.

Rugby internationals are preceded by national anthems that are sung by their own supporters and respected by the opposition; soccer internationals, if FIFA boss Sepp Blatter gets his way, will soon be denuded of national anthems because they are 'provocative' to the low life who attend them.

Every rugby country has its district where the game is largely the pursuit of the working class: the borders in Scotland; Limerick in Ireland; the West Country in England; the valleys in Wales. The middle class who support football in England only do so to wave their wallets at their working class rivals. 'One job between you, you've only one job between you'

And as our own soccer supporters are only too keen to ape the English fans, stopping short perhaps of singing 'if it weren't for the English you'd be Krauts' at continental supporters, you tend to get much the same here. 'You're supposed to have a home' sung at Rovers fans. 'Does your dealer know you're here?' sung at St Pat's fans etc

Look no further than this discussion board: access to the soccer forums is limited to those the moderators can vouch for because, well you can't trust Unoited and Orsenal supporters when they meet, even electronically.

Nothing to do with social class, mate. All to do with personal values.

FYI: offering any tickets over face value (excepting Ticketmaster tax) for any event, sporting or otherwise, is punishable by an immediate permanent sitewide ban.

I have two west stand seated, I bought them off a guy along with tickets for the aussie game at a way over the top price (I only wanted to go to the aussie game but he insisted I buy the whole package or nothing at all) But I'd be more than willing to let em go at whatever value is placed on west stand seated tickets?
