I'm not sure if its the right catagory or not, moderators feel free to move or delete, but I'm thinking of moving to west Cork, around Schull area, does anyone live around that area, whats it like? Is it worth moving to? Is the pace of life slower there? Any help would be appreciated or any suggestions, thanks in advance.

Pace of life around Schull is def a lot slower.

It's a 'holiday village/town' so will be a lot busier during the summer months compared to now.

Best thing to do is to spend some time down there before you make the big move and see if you like it before making such a big commitment.

Having said that West Cork is a beautiful part of the world and many will envy you!

Baltimore and the islands are very nice, but very dull...
