You won't find a P4 in a laptop mate, it's all Pentium Ms from almost any place with sense now. A P4 in a laptop will melt your balls and drain the battery in under an hour.

tbh if your going on finance youd be better going to your local bank and taking out a personal loan for what ever amount, plus the APR will be less.
If your sredits good with your bank you will already be pre approved for a loan and they can have it in your account within a day.
Hey im already approved for €11,000 and i got my current laptop with a loan and it nearly paid after 10 months.

I know that you can get P4s in laptops, just that noone does them anymore really, since the P-M has come along so well.

i have a 9100 thats a p4 HT, and tbh having a battery in it may aswell be a ups backup power system, it only lasts an hour, but its more of a space saving computer than used as a laptop, i use my i6000 more often than it.

yeh your better off getting a loan from your bank or credit union loan, much cheaper interest

Get a loan from the bank/credit union then wait for the laptop you were interested in to appear on the dell outlet. Dont buy the first one you see, wait a coupla weeks to get a feel for the highs and lows similar specs will get. Sometimes they are far more discounted than others.

You could also check the dell outlet shop on ebay.ie
