Why what are you trying to do. If you have moved ISP's and your old ISP supports pop3 email you should still be able to connect from your new ISP to the old account to d/l your mails. You dont even have to use the new email addy you have been given. You can send from your new ISP using the new isp's account settings but with your old email in the 'sent from' box.

However if you are talking about say moving from Hotmail to Yahoo it may be more tricky.

I think there is a work around to get Outlook to work with Hotmail and then do as described above, but I dont know the details. I believe you can do similar with Gmail as well. Never tried either of them.

    Hope this helps.

Hmm depends on the mail server at college I would guess. Unless they allow remote access or their mail servers support forwarding rules you may be stuck.

You should be able to access oceanfree's mail server from any client and any ISP and possibly from the web too.

Which account would you like to recieve both sets of mails to?

It doesn't really matter, it'd just be handy to have all my mails in one spot. I don't mind starting up a new account if you know what providers could do it?
(as i bet you've guessed, im not the most techy of people, wish io was, you guess rule!)

Yea I think we have gathered that, but to let you know if it is possible we need to know a few things :

Does your college allow you to access your email from outside the campus? If so how?

If not you need to ask the college if their mail software allows & supports mail forwarding or rules based mail processing. Eg like autoreply/out of office

Only until you give us details on that can we help. Just telling us the name of the college might be enough if a more techie poster on boards works there.
