    Has anyone got VW beetle wings and doors to suit a 1967 model before I go and buy new ones? Thanks.

    Get in touch with Roadcow (Britt) he is based in San Jose, California, and regularly ships genuine rust free parts to Northern Ireland,
    probably has some in stock up North.
    Repro parts are easy to come by but are generally a poor fit and poor quality steel,
    depends on the level of restoration, my old ragtop had repros and they did the job and were cheap too ;)
    If you want the best ask Britt about a set of '67 doors and '66 or earlier wings (US 67 fronts had round H-lamps),
    they will have the oval lamps up front and the rears will have small lamps and holes for the bumper support bars.
    Here's a US spec 67 http://www.oldbug.com/yel67.htm

    You can find Britt on the forums at;

    (PS; There is a 356 powered oval for sale on http://www.kieftenklok.nl/uk/index.php ;)
    I'll give you a buzz on monday about the Fiesta)

    Thanks for the info Justin, I think I might be better off fitting good quality secondhand panels instead of spurious stuff.

    I'd reckon that you would have a difficult task to source secondhand parts for a '67 Beetle in Ireland.

    Have you tried .....

    The Beetle Club (southernvolksfolks)?
    Emilios Beetles?
    The Morris Minor Centre (Ranelagh)?

    Having said that, I spotted a circa.'65 Beetle parked/abandonded in a garden in Clane, Co. Kildare some time ago.
    - hard to say what parts might be salvagable tho ? .........PM me if you need more details.

    Silvera.

    Cool!
    Where is that lot located JustinOval ?

    Any '65's/'67's among them ?

    It's Emilios top secret yard full of old dubs awaiting restoration, somewhere in Kildare.
    I don't think there are many, if any pre-68s there. Emilio mainly works on later cars AFAIK.
    The lucky beetles in that yard will be given the full treatment and turn out something like this;

    My old '71, back in '99 :D
