Just wondering if any boardsters play there?

I'm not affiliated to the site only play on there but I like it because it's the only site I know where you get 10,000 chips to start a tournament. Even the $5 ones. It's the site I first started playing and I think for the most part the standard is quite high. Drawbacks are that like most sites it's busiest when the US is awake. So sometimes you have a long wait for a sit and go to start. It's also a bit of a pain to withdraw money unless you have a Neteller account and there's not the depth of tournaments that you get elsewhere. Not any huge money games apart from the wsop qualifiers. So it really can't compete with the Tribeca network or Stars etc. And for that reason it's probably not the site of choice for the online pros.

I find it's best for tournament players who want a decent game for a reasonable buy in... And if you're a good player a $10 tourney is likely to run for a good two hours plus with as few as 23 runners. value for entertainment at least.

If anyone knows of a siite that offers the same kind of thing but with more traffic I'd be very interested.

Yeah I play there and I really like it. The competition even at lower levels is decent as you said getting 10,000 chips in all tournies is really handy and really allows you to get into tournaments.
I also like the layout of the site better then any other site I have been to so far.
Its definately the room I use the most.

I play there as well. I love the layout and feel of the software, it is without a doubt the best download for a Mac user. Have to say though, I find the tournament structures (sit and go's) at the lower buy in's quite tight. (By low I mean looooooow) As for those Bugsy Bonus Points ...... some of the players take those things very seriously.

    :D

I'd just like to make more people aware of the site so that there might be a few more players for the tourneys at times when I'm awake.

Plus I'd also like to know if there are any other sites that offer 10k starting chips. It's good online practice for large live freezeouts.

Is it a skin of a different site?

Don't think so lafortezza... It used to be associated with the Hendon Mob and I think UK poker... But it was always Hendon Mob at Bugsy's Club. The Hendon Mob ended their association with it once they got the Prima deal. So I think it's only the one skin now.

Ok, I've just never heard about it before. It's pretty low on the list of sites on BW.com
    How many players online roughly?

here's a review of the site from a site that I use when looking to see what sort of a site it is I'm joining.

I would say that's quite an old review as I've played on it for nearly three years now.

But it's true that it is relatively low traffic. As for the newbie players coming from Poker School Online... They tend to only play low stakes tournaments and sit n gos. Having said that they are often quite good games. The 10k qualifiers... [effectively WSOP seat] which start at $2 =0.20 will always have + 50 runners and last at least 3hrs. The weekend 10k Qualifiers AT $10 = $1 typically a 100 plus runners. They even have two day events [one at 1c with 393 runners and a $100 prize pool] which are clearly designed to give players the feel of a big live tournament. So it really does offer a different experience from the normal sites. Your not going to play on it all the time... your not going to make huge amounts of money... But it does offer great value play.

It could well be an old review, I know they update their reviews of the major sites fairly regularly, if something happens, just checked the Party review and it included all about the Skin split, but they might not update the smaller sites reviews, they are also basically a referral service to these sites so they might be more biased towards the sites that give them more money per referral, but I usually use them as a good reference point for a new site I'm thinking about joinung, basically looking at the traffic, etc. etc. But I've never played on Bugsy's before and these structures do sound like fun, so you never know. I'd probably take the word from someone here over a referral website.....
