At least, everyone else on the table seems to think it's him. "texdolly" location Las Vegas, NV, at a $1-$2 game? Maybe someone here knows.

Yeah, thats him. He should have a picture of himself in his avatar. I saw him playing the highest stake limit table there is on there one night. He was winning hundreds, and the chat window was flooded with questions.

Any offsuit hand with no pair is a 4-card badugi, and beats any other hand.

Any hand with 3 offsuit unpaired cards is a 3-card badugi, and beats any 2- or 1-card badugi. For example: 4d45h6c6s is a 3-card badugi 456, and beats any 7-high 3-card badugi or worse.

Similarly a 2-card badugi is a hand like Ah7c7s7h and a 1-card badugi is one like 345K all spades. The worst hand in the game is KKKK, which is a 1-card badugi, king high.

It sounds a bit complicated but it's really easy to learn and everyone should play it exclusively from now on. I might post some hands later. Unfortunately Doyle has left the table so I won't be posting any hands he played.

4 rounds of betting. Once when you get dealt your cards and once after each of three draws.

I can consider drawing one on the first round; my J-high badugi probably isn't favourite here, although I haven't done the maths. If there were 3 other players I would have to dump the J because I am drawing so nice.

I think he makes a bad call before the last draw, as he knows he must make a badugi to win, and he is drawing very rough anyway.

I can think about folding the river. I can only beat a bluff, as he is probably not going to value bet a worse badugi. But I thought that he is capable of bluffing here, and that he might have checkraised with a good badugi. I had bet a few weak badugis when checked to in this spot before, I now think mistakenly.

I just got dealt the nuts :) Got paid off too raising pot every time as I had stood pat on the two hands directly before it too (not straight off though) and nobody believed me :):D

Tis a boring game though. It's pretty much impossible to know what's a bluff and what's not.
