I'm looking at this at the moment. I've checked out the reviews on av-forums and it comes out with an 8/10 in all of them so that seems okay. I've seen it myself in DID and Currys and it appeals to me more than anything else in there. More so that both the Hitachi's that are in Curry's including the 42PD7200 which gets 10/10.

So just wondering as anyone any real life experience with this particular model as they seem to be selling well. DID had sold 7 last week.

It's 3019. Currys are selling it for 3299 I think with a price promise of not being beaten, so not sure what the story is what that. I see it on katronics.de for 2799, at least I think its that one as it advertises it as 42FP9967 and it has all the same specs as a 9966.

I actually have just ordered mine from Katronics.

Be careful with the slightly different model numbers though.

The tv can look the same but if it has a different model number it can be intended for different markets like russia/japan/s.america and have alot less features.
I nearly bought a 32pf9986 instead of a 32pf9830. They both have the same big features(like ambilight & motorised swivel) but if you compare the models in detail youll find alot of features that they have cut corners on.

Especially when your trying to find the best model for you and are googli-eyed from model numbers.

    Just my two cents

I see what you mean. Seems that the model one digit up is infact a new model. Can't see much of a difference except it has a freeview digital tuner.

I can get a 10% discount with DID or I can get the newer model for the same price from katronics except it will cost a bit more as I'll have to pay the delivery.

Only thing putting me off is if you have to bring it back.
