    Hiya,
at a recent Halloween bash I dropped my trusty Cybershot digital camera. It still turns on and I can access photos on the mem stick but the zoom/lens is stuck, I'm thinking broken motor or something. Anyways, can anyone recommend any places in Dublin to bring it in for repair? Also I heard it can be pretty pricy to repair faults of this kind, if it's anywhere near €200 I'd be better off buying a new one?
    Thanks in advance!
    John

    The Camera Repair Centre
    DML House , Portobello Harbour
    Dublin 8

    Phone: 01 4781638

the guy who runs that can do it but it may be expensive

I dropped a lens and I'm getting Canon to fix it and I reckon it'll be about €300 but the lens costs €1600 or so, so it's worth it to get that fixed

If its a sony, just ring sony and they will do any repair for a set price of €110.

Oh really, that'd be great. When you say ring Sony, is there a general repair number or just ring any Sony authorised shops?

    thanks a million
