yes a quick post to say. I was at Bridgestone Thai fight the other night.

Have to say it really was amazing..and all the fighter fought with serious "heart"

from fights I seen in thailand, the Irish Thai Fighters seem to be like about 600% more aggressive.!!!! and seemed like much more punching than I see over there.

So yeah was amazed by the standard, the fitness, and the conditioning of all on the card.

And the ring girl was kinda cute....I think Red Raven told me that was his younger sister...ha ha.....honest I was not looking that much!!!! ;) ah boys will be boys!!!

and it was a great buzz of a night too, and trained about 10 pints into me too!!!! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I was about 10 years younger, and had a bit more than 6 months thai training on my side, and I d would have loved to done a few fights myself.

I do not really consider (except for hand work) my kickboxing traning up to the toughness and conditioning of thai training. Thai is a different type of traning....more aggressive and more conditioning needed. though in defence of kickboxing...it can be more taticital...but thats not much use when some one if blast your legs with shins!!!

as a side note I found this on the web re Thai training..

look at the way this is done, interesting training sechedules.

I am going to live in a town in north east called Nong ki. in buri ram provence ..I think about 10,000 people there, so I am hoping to find a place to train there!

Yeah totally agree I travelled up from Belfast to support my sparring partner Anne-Marie Byrnes and it was a really good show.

Still think that Kelly won her fight or it should of at least been a draw but in her favour... deffo think she was robbed!!

The guy who won the 71kg fight was really good, that was an excellent fight that lads got a lot of potential I was really impressed by him.

Congrats to Paul, always runs a good show!
