My Apartment - Paid for service im not getting

    I am living in student accomodation.
    When we paid up (We pre-paid until XMAS + Deposit) we were told that one of the facilities we would get is Internet access via the college network.

    There are about 100 houses/apartments, and all the houses have the internet no problem, but the apartments dont.
    It clearly stated that apartments and houses have internet access. We have the CAT5 socket in the wall for the Internet, when I confronted the manager of the property we were told 'It was being set up, it will be working next week' ... But it has been 9 weeks now.

    I'm totally fed up of having to go into the college computers to get online, but more so that im paying for a service thats not being given to me.

    Does anyone know my rights here? How much of a fuss can I kick up?

    Take him to small claims for number of weeks downtime x 20 per week . I assume its in your contract and guaranteed so you are entitled to compensation
