PSP Availability in Dublin City Centre?

Your best bet is to ask around in each shop when they are getting stock in. Most get a few in and they sell out in a few minutes. If you are there when they come in you will get one

Smyths Toys in Airside are getting new stock in tomorrow. You have to be there before nine to get a ticket. It will be on a first come first served basis.

you can pre-order them in xtra vision - takes a week or 2 to get it in but you'll definitely get one.

I had the same problem when I got mine. The only place I could get them in Dublin were Gamestop on Henry Street and DID.

I ended up getting it in Gamestop. GAME, Dixons, Argos, HMV, Virgin and Smyths were all sold out.

no you cant, i repeat xtravision do not and will not have any more psps this christmas, we stopped taking pre-books nearly a month ago, it s going to be a struggle getting the pre-books in never mind taking more ones.

to the poster who said they saw someone buying one that was more than likely a pre-book

I called some Sony Centers was a week or two ago. They were all out, none could give me an idea when more would appear, and one wouldn't even take a name for a waiting list.

I booked mine in Xtravision Mullingar last week and will have it first week in Dec!

I pre-booked a gigapack in XV two weeks ago and picked it up last night. Chap in front of me was picking up two!

looks like columbia tristar the real PSP distributors are going to pull a fast one, with what looks like the majority of PSP's available for xmas being gigapacks with WRC and the soccer game retailing at EUR 390. so dont be suprised if that is all that is available, looks like they are going to use parents desperation to shift some dodgy games :mad:

If it's 399, it's probably the giga pack with the PSP, 1GB memory stick and 2 games. I'd be surprised if they were let sell the ordinary giga pack with no games for that price.

Sony Center in Liffey Valley ~14:30 today. They said there were four or five left. Probably all gone by now.
