    Hi,

There's a small 25 euro buy in with 1 top up/re-buy or 25 euro on tonight in the pub beside me.

It's called the cuckoo's nest on the greenhills road.

i think reg starts around 6.45-7

    game is NL hold'em

Indeed, it's the only pub poker I ever play - mainly because it's local - but it is a good tournament. €20 of the €25 goes into the prize pool.

    what's the starting chips/blinds etc?

They've changed the starting chips recently with the 1 buy or top up, but as far as I remember, it's 3000 in chips with the blinds starting at 25/50 and going up every 20 minutes before the break and every 15 minutes after.

Ya they have a new format in alot of their tournaments now, and they are not as bad as some of the crowds running tournaments.

I have also heard good things about this tourney from a few that have played it. They seem genuine and honest which seems to be rare on the pub tourney scene at the moment. As far as i know 1st is generally around the €1K mark so i am guessing that they do actually put the correct money (or at least most of it) towards the prizepool. Having said all this, i have not yet played this one so i cant say first hand.
