DVD recorder with 80gig hdd

    Agos have a liteon dvd recorder with an 80gig hard drive for only E305.Seems a good price as it also has time slip so you can pause live tv.
    Has anyone bought this player?Is it any good??

    FWIW you shuld go to www.cdfreaks.com or liteonusers.org.uk and check out the firmware - you can certainly hack the firmware easily to remove macrovision and region coding on the 5006 which is the non HDD model.

    I got it, quiet happy with it too. Does everything its supposed to do but the video+ thing is annoying.
    Got it for the parents, its user friendly and really easy to set up. Its very quiet too.

    It is kind of ugly but its not the worst.

    Im happy with it

    Ta me i mo shtupidity.

    Didnt realise that you had to turn the recorder off after making the video+ setting for it to work. Its grand now.
    Only prob i have is the ugly factor but plastic surgery is getting cheaper so in a few years i should be ok
