Haven't heard of one but there is a bus and luas and I think a rail and luas

One big warning the ticket only becomes valid if validated on the bus or train station turnstile

There is a rail bus luas annual ticket so it is technically possible

    Sorry mate, this ain't Berlin.

I do know that you can get Rail/Luas day passes that work on all Luas and bits of the DART/Arrow network - they're called Rail and Luas daysaver and they can be from any Dublin Area ticket clerk I've done it a couple of times. You can also get daypasses on Dublin Bus and Luas - from a Luas TVM AFAIK, I think there's a rail+bus pass as well.

Basically in Dublin, you can't "have your cake and eat it too" as the saying goes, out of the three main components of the transport system you can pick two for a day pass. It's not very good at all.
