    Tacker, if you find out who is running the tournament, someone might be able to give you advice.

    There are good and bad operators out there, but without more info, entry fees, organisors name etc... you won't be able to ge any feedback.

    You must have seen a poster or something to know it's on ??

    If the location isn't too far from you then you could go early and get the tournament structure/blind levels and payout explained to you. If the organisers aren't willing to do this then I'd be a bit suspicious. Have a look at the Event sticky and maybe some of Shortstacks/Pokerevents threads for indications of good structures and sensible payouts.
