Suggestion: Mark threads on front page which I've posted in

Not just me, but $username obviously.

I'm not sure how much that would screw with the query with which you had so much trouble, but it would be handy to have entries on the front page in bold or something, for threads which the user has posted in. I think.

    :)

Nice idea but that'd involve the search function would it not?

No, all it would have to do is check if the thread was posted in by $user, which is already done for every forum anyway.

Surely you should remember which ones you have posted in?

How would you display it? In an icon like the current forum view, or perhaps by marking the thread title in italics?

    No, I sometimes don't!

Ah yeh... that makes sense (like the little tick in Cloud skin)

WizZard, seamus suggested having it in bold text

is that not more or less the same as the list subscribed threads search button/link?

Yes this is a pain in the arse, someone removed my access from Peartree House and I still get updated in my sub menu, but there's no way to remove it because it doesn't display in the usercp.

    To unsubscribe do this:
    PTH forum id is 339
to unsubscribe you enter this into your browser:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/subscription.php?do=removesubscription&f=339

(adding the 339 of the forum id at the end)

I never subscribe to threads unless I want instant E-Mail notification...

This system could work because you'll get all the new posts on the front page and you can see which you've posted on.

The subbed list just shows your subscribed threads and can have really old threads that've slipped way down the list instead of recent posts

I can unsub threads but not forums for some werid reason .

This is an excellent idea.I hat having to troll through all the forums looking for threads I've posted in(without subscribing to threads ,of course)

I normally don't do this. The missing "e" is forgivable, however...

teach.gif "Trawl" is the word you are looking for. Unless of course it was a hilarious exercise in self-deprecating humour; in which case, carry on sir!

    That would've been me.

It's the way you didn't post in the thread that ran from 30th October to 4th November and had "Post Here To Keep Your Access to PTH" in the title that did it.

Yah, I'm not in a huff over it or anything, was just surprised.

Sort of forgot it was even there until I went to read it the other day :)
