I missed the first episode of this show but saw it this evening. Have to say it's one of the funniest shows i've seen ages. . Totally takes the pis$ out of the sky news format, eg the stand up news.

Basically its clips of made up news networks that all have the same stories. But they keep switching between the networks. So the news is all broken up.

Its on mondays at half nine on bbc2. I really recommend it.

Check out the website - there's even a few clips there.

    Laughed..I almost did.

Woeful program. I can see what it's trying to do, but it just doesn't seem to work very well.

I like this one I haven't see the second episode

The first episope really took the piss out of all the rolling news service.

The Standing Up News : ITN
Waiting for an announcement for doctors in Greece : BBC
The two american Anchors : All american news
The Local News : All Local News

    Is it repeated.

I thought it was terrible. You could see what they were trying to do, but it just wasnt funny.

A very lame attempt at KYTV.

I've seen both progs so far, when I started to watch last week I was ready to hate it for being 10 years too late (Chris Morris the Day Today) but by the end quite liked it, esp Walking News which was well timed.

This weeks was good for the section where the reporter was interviewing people in Linconshire whos homes might be swept away by rising sea levels. She managed not to ask any of them a question and instead kept herself firmly at the centre of the story!

The local news team with the weatherman is toecurlingly true to life.

    Mike.

sounds like watered down version of The Day today/brass eye.

Yeah! it is kind of that alright.

It was alright - the ITN spoof "Standing Up News" was perhaps the funniest segment. The BBC and regional news ("Look Out East"!) spoofs were also alright Seems very repetitive though, and they flick between channels

Strangest thing was seeing former Babylon 5 co-star Claudia Christian reduced to appearing on this show...

I love it aswell. Cant help saying "But first" or "Coming up" whenever sky news is on.
Also the film reviewer piss take is very like Johnathan Ross - only spotted properly the other day.

To the people who mentioned Brass Eye, friends of mine mentioned it to me the other day and it seems to be the same type of program. Albeit a little more P.C.

EDIT: After watching it (for those who have sky) go to the news station section and flick through all the news channels.
