    Hi,
Is there anyone out there who can paint a Jack Vettriano painting for me before christmas, or does anyone know of anybody who can?
I am aware that asking another artist to replicate another painting is compromising their artistic integrity, but this service is available from the USA but I would rather commission an Irish artist for the job.
The painting in question is called "The singing butler".
I would apreciate any feedback on this matter.

    Thanks Snorlax,
But unfortunately the season is fast approaching and commisioned a company of artists in Portugal (of all places?). Its a pity cos the shipping fee was actually more expensive then the painting and frame put together.

    Hey,

Saw your post, check out adverts.ie for my paintings if you want

I am trying to put together an outdoor exhibition to show some up an coming artists work in the next 2/3 months. and am wondering if there is anyone else out there who would be intrested in it.

Basically i was thinking of getting a number of people to bring up to ten/ twelve pieces of there art along. And we would put them up on St. Stephens green.

Before you ask, its free, St. Stephens green is a public park. so we cannot be moved on. And under the Artists and writers treaty and exemption from tax on original pieces, they can be put on sale, without any tax/vat worries.

It is totally free, and i just wanted to get hidden talents around Dublin unlocked.

So, if it's pen and ink, Oil on Canvus, Acrylics, etc etc, why not show them off, and lets brighten up Dublin with art!!!

Anyone intrested, drop a response, or contact:

    crowleyniall@hotmail.com

    Many thanks

Just because its a public park does not give you permission to carry out unauthorised commercial activity - you will be moved if you are trying to sell

in order to sell work under the artists tax exemption scheme approval has to be granted by the Irish Revenue Commissioners, you don't just automatically qualify.
