If NZ play like they played againsted wales and we play really well I think we have a chance.

    9-36 to NZ

Hope I'm wrong though! I'll be at the game supporting Ireland!

    25 - 13 to Nz, I wish i was going Sob Sob....

    47-9 to new zealand.
    Really hope I'm wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,252 ✭✭✭Funkstard

Well it mightn't be *as* bad as the Wales whitewash because the NZ coach has been saying he's going to experiment on the tour, so I don't expect a full strength side, more new faces who he's testing the water with.......

........Ah who am I kidding. We're going to get hammered :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,335 ✭✭✭rugbug86

i'd say NZ will run away with it, literally. Ireland's squad doesn't look that strong, still have injuries and fitness problems. and missing key players.

Yeah I think it will be close if Simon E and Horgan are fit. If Simon E is out Trevor Brennan should have been in. (woudl have him in in the first place)

Ireland to loose by 5 points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,010 ✭✭✭besty

We'll lose by alot more than 5 points!

Hopefully I'm wrong, but cannot see us getting anywhere near the All Blacks.

I think Ireland can do well, even cause an upset.

15 changes is a lot and EOS is true in saying an all black is an all black but I think Ireland will be well up for it. Wales were very poor last weekend and I am sure we can put in a better display than them. The provinces are playing well this season unlike the welsh teams so the players are coming into it in better form.

Whatever happens it should be a good game.

    Only the touch judge:

    http://www.planetrugby.com/Teams/Ireland/story_47257.shtml
    Date: Saturday, November 12
    Kick-off: 14.30 GMT
    Venue: Lansdowne Road
    Referee: Jonathan Kaplan (South Africa)
Touch judges: Stuart Dickinson (Australia), Malcolm Changleng (Scotland)
Television match official: Roy Maybank (England)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

how Malcolm Changleng (Scotland) is considered test match class is beyond me. i wouldn't have him reffing underage games let alone internationals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,880 ✭✭✭Hippo

Changleng is beyond belief, and if he's running the line he's obviously being groomed for international ref duty. What a thought....

Theres always hope, we're going to get a good beating though :-\

Think Ireland will lose by 25pts. Wales were dreadful we didn't get out of the starting blocks, the first 20mins are crucial and Ireland have to get the crowd going and on their side. IF like Wales you are pinned back in the 22 with no ball then it could be a cricket score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 645 ✭✭✭Liam90

theres a good ref so there shouldn't be any mistakes by the ref

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

    kaplan isn't a good ref

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 118 ✭✭Mungaman

I agree Kaplan is a shocker

    Ireland 50-3 Nz :D

    46 - 24 to NZ

Ireland to still be within 10 at half time if not ahead, then NZ pull away and hockey us second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Ireland better start booting it :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Second half is gonna be grim. We had the wind and didn't use it. Trying to beat New Zealand at their own game is a terrible game plan. Has any Irish player broken a tackle yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

    Darcy only i think

Theyre running it from their try line! We dont even do that vs bloody spain!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

I dont know whats more disappointing, the fact we could of stuck 3 or 4 tries on them or that were playing stupid, not bad, just stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,082 ✭✭✭Nukem

Thats it -All blacks were just supreme - unreal -unstopable -
Dunno what we coulda done bar arm every irish man with a shotgun.

    Oh dear:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 697 ✭✭✭uRbaN

in fairness, whats the point in kicking for a few measley points
score to 0 vs a 12 point o'gara score makes no difference or adds no gloss imo
    they got schooled good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Im not talking about kicking the points, i mean we were running it from everywhere and getting turned over because they were isolated, not to mention our handling isnt good enough for the type of game we were trying. Dont know the knock on count but id bet it was high. We needed to kick more territory, and o gara is the master of it, so i dont know why he kicked it about 3 times in the whole game. On a plus note, a well deserved try. And leamy was superb, the subs who came on played well, albeit they only played for a brief period.

Supose but its still a joke. That was pretty much the New Zealand B team ffs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,240 ✭✭✭Endurance Man

Man, that was kinda hard to watch :o .
    Ireland made some appualing tackles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,282 ✭✭✭BlackWizard

    That was demoralizing :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 134 ✭✭Geg124

Ireland lost 45-7. New Zeeland were just unstopable. It wasnt even their best team playing. Found it hard to watch. Did anyone else??

Ireland need to rebuild now and give some of the younger players a chance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,066 ✭✭✭youcancallmeal

    47-9 to new zealand.

    Think I was closest :(
