    So what's the verdict? how is it as a live venue? Got a gig coming up there soon... I've never been there so I just wanted to know what the general opinion is...

    It's not a bad place, but it's a bit out of the way. Walking up there on a cold winter's evening is a horrible experience. I saw Converge there though, and it was great.

    Good sound. The engineer up there is supposed to be pretty sound. Also, the LUAS runs right past the door :)

    It Must have the nicest pizza slices in ireland for sale at the front of the pub.

    was there for the things on sat night. its a great spot for live bands, pity there aren't more like it. the dice bar around the corner is good for a pre shop pint too.
