i have an, umm, friend, who, in a spirit of 'absinth-wonder', may or may not have burnt a huge crater in their back about 6 months ago with a super-heated metal object.
since then, the hypothetical wound has healed, but may or may not still be itchy and have a reduced area of touch sensitivity due to hypothetical nerve damege.
but it liiks cool, and at least one girl had a negitive freak out (of the one sampled; 100% success rate!).
does anyone have any experience in such possibly fictional manifestations occuring in 'friends'?
reckon its safe/possible to tattoo around and through scar tissue?

It is definitely safe to tattoo on scar tissue from a branding, one of the guys in Snakebite has it done on the back of his neck. It is tough for the tatooist apparently but possible.

indeed it is man. only problem with scar is that its harder for the needle to penetrate the skin. but it shouldn't be anything that a good tattooist can't cure. hope it works out for yer 'friend'... ;)

Had a friend a while back who couldn't get any tattoo parlour to brand him, so he got another friend to burn a design into both his legs with a soldering iron.A week later he's in hospital poisoned as they never cleaned the solder off first!
Serious amounts of burnt flesh though.................
