Just heard on the news that Uaneen was killed in a car crash today. She'll be well missed, did an awful lot for alternative tunes here in ireland.

Uaneen will be sadly missed. she is the reason i started listening to relish and jj72. they are doing a tribute to her at the moment on 2fm 9-11 songs from all her favourite bands and from 11-2am concerts from beck at witnness, moby from slane and radiohead form punchstown.

    sad day indeed.

her shows both No Disco and the 2fm slot introduced me to Tricky and Portishead (way way back) and more recently Doves, Mercury Rev, Looper and Badly Drawn Boy.

one of the nicest personalities on radio and tv. she will be missed.

she was a really talented broadcaster with serious potential.
the thing i liked most about her was how easy it was to watch her.
she was herself, unlike the liz bonnins of this world that rte is filled with.
she was arguably the best young thing rte had going for it.
and no disco was a superb achievement.
    R.I.P.

Aweful, aweful she was a deadly no disco presenter, very charismatic and enjoyed good unusual music which i admired alot in a person
i was astounded when i read the front of the paper today,it just shows the brevity and cruel choice of providence

as yer man said its a very sad day for music in ireland

    ahh sh1te!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
