Cheap budget PC

    Been pricing cheap PC the last while and this is most resonable I saw...

    AMD Sempron 2800+
    256 DDR
    DVDRW
    Onboard gfx, lan and sound
    80gb HD
    56k modem
    Speakers
    Logitech keyboard and optical mouse
    56k modem
    Xp Home, MS Works 7
    Some games and other software
    No monitor

    €499

    iQon Power City. I know its not a mega deal. But I was pricing Dell, and building one myself and this seems to be a good deal. I've gone home built and bought some 2nd hand parts as it allowed me pick and choose what I wanted better. But it didn't work out cheaper than this. The spec is different, more ram, good case etc, but I didn't get an OS or the keyboard and mouse or a DVDRW.

    They have just reduced that from 549 in the last 2 weeks.

    Just seen an add in todays IT for Power City it's now 479!
    In a couple of weeks time it could be free if it keeps reducing in price this quickly!

    Probably no AGP slot so good for games. But otherwise look ok. They have a more expensive one a P4, but that doesn't seem as resonable,
