That's really awful, I don't know what I'd do if my cameras were stolen, and mine are all junk! Not sure if it's your livelyhood or part time, but eep! Hope they get recovered/insurance pays out/something good happens

Suggest you drop that info in to the various camera shops in town as that's the most likely place the tea leaf would try to offload them.

Yes, that's worth doing, even if it is a slim possibility (most Junkies/Burglars will avoid bringing stolen goods to a reputable dealer).
Keep an eye on the Buy & Sell for the next few weeks too.

    You have any insurance cover?

I have one of these and have marked all the stuff of any value, but do the police actually scan recovered goods for marks? I know they do up North, but with my experience of having a car broken into (they looked at me when I mentioned taking fingerprints) I wouldn't be hopeful.

.org, not much to say really except I hope you get some new gear through the insurance.

no insurance as unless you're a business you can't insure camera gear like that on it's own policy in Ireland really.

and i'm a tenant so it's near impossible to find an insurance company to cover just contents as landlords insurance generally only covers the building

any particular pawn shops you reckon i check?
