    Ian Brown has been confirmed to play a Heineken Green Room Session in Carlow

    Christmas comes early for Carlow music fans with Ian Brown paying a December 14 visit to Dinn Ri.

    Playing the role of Santy are Heineken whose previous Green Room Sessions have starred Zero 7, Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, UNKLE and Death In Vegas.

    To score a pair of tickets for this invite-only gig, register your interest at the Heineken Green Room session website before December 4 and keep your fingers crossed that you're one of the lucky 650 people who get picked out of the digital hat.

    Yeah I registered for this. wonder what are the chances of getting tickets. I only live five miles from Carlow so it would be pretty cool. normally when i'm in dinn ri I have to listen to sh*te cover bands playing covers of crap like the rasmus, linkin park and robbie williams.
