I first saw this movie several years ago it was on TV3 and i reley enjoyed it but forgot its name and then saw it again a year or so later and then rememberd the name and then found someone who had recorded it and i made a copy of it and hacve had it on tape for some time i bought it from amazon on DVD and im watching it now.

Very enjoyable movie, i decided to post this just to see who elce had seen it who did/didnt like it. Its not that well known a movie.

    Synopsis

Cameron Diaz, Ron Eldard, Annabeth Gish, Jonathan Penner and Courtney B. Vance star in this hilarious thriller about five grad school liberals who share a house, a left wing outlook, and sunday suppers filled with conversation and social critcism. But when a redneck trucker threatens one of there own, he inadvertenly puts them on the radical road to seriel murder. From soup to nuts, THE LAST SUPPER is "fiendishly funny"!
    (Peter Travers, Roling Stone)

    Running Time 88 Mins

Its a very funny movie and i reccemend it

Yeah, i thought it was a good movie. Not amazing but very good!

I actually rented it out when it was first released.. i was expecting little from it but i thought it was a great little film.

Cameron Diaz was fairly average in it... before she became a "star"! Her role in the film didn't really stand out to me - as much as it did with the other characters!

Great performances from Bill Paxton and Courtney B. Vance especially!..

And a nice little ending to boot!

EDIT: Good value for the DVD on Play! for 8 pound sterling.

I thought it was ok.Perhaps a little overly smug at times ,I thought the various right wing types were a bit too cartoonish while our indignant righteous free thinkers-with-nice-hair types were always treated with kid gloves and that kinda deflates the humour

the whole tomato thing got a chuckle out of me but the Highlight of the film (indeed any film) was Ron Perlman, the man is a legend and was a tour de force at the ending scenes.

The film would have been a disaster without the payback ending, the victims were fully deserving but the group were ultimatly even worse!
