    im thinkin about putting together a fairly meaty barebone system but only one barebone on komplett has a psu of over 300W so any suggestions on where else to look ??

    I could be wrong, but I don't think you'll find (Or need) a barebone system with a psu over 300W. This may be worth a look.

    EDIT: Just had a look around and the Shuttle SB81P has a 350W psu.

    Generally barebones don't have large PSU's. Why would they need it since you can't fit much in them. Anyway heres a link to some more.

    Most people confuse more power with better stability. Whereas you need a qood quality PSU not a high powered one. Unless you've maxed out your PC with gear. In which case you need both.
