Anyone else go to this?
I went last night (21st June), and it was incredible! Anyone who takes playing guitar in anyway seriously should hasve been there, the man is true genius! He taught Kirk Hammett (Metallica), and Steve Vai (considered the best guitarist in the world by some), how to play!
The songs from his new album I heard last night are amazing, how this man became such a master of his musical instrument is baffling!
Playing with him as always was Stu Hamm, definatly one of the greatest bass players to ever walk the earth.
I'm sooooooooo glad I went to this, didn't have a ticket and it was sold out, just wandered around the corner and got a ticket at the last minute and made my way in with a mate. The best times you'll ever have in your life are the spontanious ones, remember that kids!
If you get a chance to see this guy play live, GO!
His only downfall is that he can't sing for shíte, tho he only tried one song, (Big Bad Moon), he shouldn't try at all...heh.
