Anyone interested in doing Open Mic for 100euro???

Hey there,
I have an open mic competition in my bar every wednesday evening with a 100euro prize!! If you wanna enter or know anyone who would, just gimme a buzz on 087 6956540. Its the legal eagle bar beside the four courts.

It's for singer/songwriters. Up to two people per act. We have two microphones and two guitar leads. Pretty simple set up, come down and check it out sometime if you're interested!

You should get in a piano/digital piano as well. The competitions would be much more ineresting. There's nothing more boring than someone strumming a 3 chord pattern.

We've had some musicians bring in their piano, unfortunetly we dont supply the instruments, just the equipment. Also, for anyone who is interested, it's a good idea to ring and book a slot 2/3 days in advance!

I'd love to have sax players!! That would be great, we have had guitarists, violinists, and pianists. That would be very interesting. Why don't you come down and see what the night is like and then decide if you'd like to play!

sound like a good idea, just one problem though, having guitars and NOT having a drummer, thats why busted are crap, provide a drummer and you'll improve crowds and applications

no drums unfortunetly but some of the guys bring those bongo things or the one you sit on! Drums would be too much for the venue!

1. I don't think he's looking for kiddies bands like Busted - it's a bar, not a playgroup

Looking for new blood for the open mic night guys, sing a few songs with the chance of winning 100euro!!!!!!!! How easier could u make 100???? dont answer that hehe.

We are thinking of pulling the 100uero prize from the open mic for maybe 8 weeks and still running the night but each week 2 people go through to have a song put on a cd that we would release after the eight weeks!!! Thoughts please????

The CD would probably be released to the likes of Tower Records, not quite sure yet, just an idea in the pipeline.
