i cant install it. and i have used the cd that came with it that SHOULD automatically install it.

i have played around with the system settings and tried to install new hardware.

actually, i have uninstalled the driver currently being used first, then tried to reinstall the correct driver with no avail.

help me, please? any wizz kids out there?

    Does it matter ?
What functions of the monitor are not available with a default driver ?

Look for the drivers on the internet

the current driver makes the screen look terrible.

images cant be displayed correctly, microsoft money wont work at all, and generally it look like "baby graphics"
very very poor. most applications with any graphics wont run at all...

the driver off the internet wont install correctly.
nor with the driver from the CD.

i have only just reinstalled win 2000 pro on the computer...

so after all that, thats why it matters....

Its very unlikely that its your monitor drivers causing those problems. Its your graphics card drivers that sounds like the problem.

To tell what graphics card you have go to start>run type "dxdiag" in the box. Then go to the display tap. Then it will tell you there what graphics card you have. Post it here and someone should be able to give you a link for drivers.
