Good enough for the little brats...the problem with the kids is they would shoot you faster then an adult as they wouldnt realise the enormity of the consequences and with the access they have to firearms in la la land over there im surprised the cops are letting them off so lightly!!!!!!

    I love my island.

One boy was threatening to cut his leg so they tasered him. His mother's response is class:
"If there's three officers, it's nothing to tell a 6-year-old holding a glass, if you feel threatened, 'Hey, here's a piece of candy, hey, here's a toy. Let the glass go,'" the boy's mother told CNN.
So she advocates her child taking sweets from strangers? And doesn't seem to be wondering why her child's acting vaguely psychotic. Hmmm...

I say ALL American children should be hit with a Tazer every morning before school starts - might stop them turning into bastards later down the line.....

A police officer is hardly a stranger really?

"I advised her to stop several times," he said in the report. She "continued running even to the point of starting to run into lanes of traffic."

Nelson said he used the Taser for his and the girl's safety, striking her in the base of the neck and lower right back.

    =

I was too lazy to run after her so i fryed her instead.
Let your tazer do the walking.........

exactly. Surely a policeman should be able to easily outrun a 12 year old girl and catch her in a few seconds

Wow they sound like WONDERFUL parents.

Good enough for them... maybe that girl will have a bit of a wake up call and stop skippin school to go drink and smoke

stupid kids should just get their own Tasers!!

READ you morons - she was running into lanes of traffic, and too right the cop should not have to risk his life, no matter how small the risk is, just because some idiot doesn't know how to not get caught when skipping school. "and I was, like, so scared, like" ugh...You can tell there's a lawsuit coming.

And the boy trying to cut himself? Wouldn't mind knowing more about the story, but still, when I was in 1st class nobody would have even thought about cutting themselves, let alone actually trying to do it. They're kids ffs. And you can see why that type of crap happens when the mother is pissed because the cops didnt try to coax him with sweets.

Like they said, the guns are safe to use on people above 60lbs, and anyone who has ever felt a stun gun will know that a 50,000 volt one does fúck all. Sure last time I checked they went all the way up and beyond 700,000 volts.
Anyone sticking up for the offending parties here is a retard and god help their kids.

I advise you to read my friend.
If he had time to "advise" her then he had time to catch her.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 274 ✭✭adjodlo

That makes no sense. You're saying that when a cop is chasing after someone they're not actually going to shout at them to stop running?

    Get a clue.

I'm saying that theres something wrong when a cop can't catch a twelve year old GIRL in the space of time he has to yell some warnings, take out his tazer and fry her.

Is that enough of a clue for you my friend.

    Should the officer have;

    a) continued chasing her with the hope that she doesn't get hit by a car

    b) stop chasing her, in the hope she looks both ways before crossing the road

    c) zap her before she reaces the road (road would be less than 2meters away, if she was on pavement. chances of cop reaching her would be pretty slim).

Quess we won't know the answer to that unless you have sat images of the area at that particular time?
Who knows the layout of where it happened.
I'm presuming the kid is running from the house and not the pavement by the way.

    RKM.

Would you like the gardaì to have tasars?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 274 ✭✭adjodlo

Gardai don't need tasers. When Irish kids in 1st class start threatening to cut themselves, then they will. I for one hope that day wont come.
