    Im located in Dublin 15 and just wondering does anyone know of a decent councilor around this area or in the city centre direction.

    How much would I be looking at for each session also?

    Ask your GP.

    Probably €50/hour in 1 hours sessions.

    Try going to the IACP website (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) They list all the accredited counsellers and psychotherapists, their addresses and phone numbers.
    The fee would be around 40-40e per hour but most offer a sliding scale (ie if you're a student or simply cannot afford to pay 40-50, they'll negotiate a smaller sum) Best of luck!

    Hey, if you try in Baggot Street Hospital, they do counselling for free, and if they put you on medication, that's also free. Damn good public service, and the docs aint so bad. Get your GP to refer you and you'll only spend 2 months waiting to be seen. After that, it's a once a month visit.
    Good luck!

    Have went to a government appointed one but they tend to just give you prescriptions and Id rather not wait two months id like to get in fairly soon.

    Slightly different specialisations.

    Psychologist = talk doctor
