    <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">From the Sunday Times review:
    This is one of the best plays I've ever seen, ever..... Penhall is writing about love, loyalty, understanding and freedom... This tough, painful, moving play confirms Joe Penhall as one of our best new writers."

    </font>

    I went to see this in the Belltable Arts Centre in Limerick over the weekend and it really is THAT good!...

    I'd highly recommend it - the acting, directing, sound, etc. is excellent, and it being a Joe Penhall play, they've got great material to work with.

    It's on in the Project Cube theatre in Temple Bar, Dublin from June 18th - 30th @ 8.15pm sharp. Tickets can be booked at 1850-260-027.

    STARRING: Les Martin, Janet Moran and Stewart Roche. Directed by John O'Brien and designed by Marie Tierney. Lighting by Caítríona O'Brien.

    Sorry to be so late in replying - I was away for a week...

    Joe Penhall is a very accomplished new playwright... the last play by him I'd seen was "Some Voices", a gripping story of love, domestic violence, schizophrenia, chivalry, friendship, mental anguish (of course!), and more...

    It was put on in the same theatre in Dublin last year by the same theatre group (Purpleheart) and featured practically the same cast... and yes... it was brilliantly done.

    Last chance to see "Love and Understanding" is this Saturday the 30th... I'll probably go on Friday meself... not sure yet.
