Thingys to turn any Bicycle into an exercise bike

Hi, I was watching a film "187" with Samuel L Jackson when I noticed he had these things he attached to the back wheels of his bicycle that turned it into an exercise bike (i.e. it didn't go anywhere) Was wondering if anyone saw these thingys around or if they new where I could get some?

Yup, stationary trainers. Tacx do some decent budget ones. Check out their website, most bike shops will be able to order them in for you. You can get basic ones for about 120 Euro.
