seems to be a copy of a cort.....

anywa i need a bass to introduce me to the world of active electronics on my own terms.

itw what i'm looking for:

cheap
active
and very easy on the eye

before i buy i would like some more infor on it...

whats thew deal with that single pick up? anyone here own a bass with a similar pick up set up? how do you find it.

and it has a 'slap switch' - is that a bull**** gimmick or a useful tool?

any one with more info on this axe or who can give me a useful like, i'd be greatful/

Don't go for a bass just cos it's active, the can frequently be a con, rather than a pro, in cheaper instruments. With a single pickup bass, any tonal change comes from your fingers or an EQ. That slap thing is probably just a preset EQ shape which is sympathetic to popping and slapping.

Doesn't seem to be much information out there on it... which isn't really a good thing.

But I'd say you should get this one instead, way better bass (think Fiat Punto vs Merc CLK), same money.
