    dont know if this is in right topic or not, so sorry if it isnt.

    i am buying a mac from ebay and i am wondering does anyone know what taxes i am liable for, it will be declared for $800. if anyone has any experience with this any info would be great.

    as always be careful about ebay. I think there will be duty on it. Maybe get the seller to declare it as a gift, i think that will exempt it, im not sure though.

    Declaring it as a gift with a lower value than what you are paying for it might help. Make sure you get it delivered to your personal address.
