i'm lookin to buy a laptop for study&gaming.i've got free broadband in the student village so gettin a compatible laptop is vital.im gonna need alot of memory (welcome to championship manager).
i dont really care what brand so long as its fast, reliable and lasts a while.
    thanks.

You're asking a bit too much for a 600 euro laptop to be honest, I'd recommend scaling down.

    you have 2 options
increase budget or replace championship manager with solitaire

He wouldn,t be far off the mark for a good second hand one. Have you checked the computer for sale forum,

You could get a decent gaming one for 1700-1800 new. But battery life would be ****e. My advice is to increase the budget, or forget gaming. I wouldn't be surprised if the built in GFX wasn't supported by games, so you may need an expansion card.

im not lookin for a new laptop,a second hand one would be fine.i might be able to increase budget, but only for the right laptop.as i said b4, the most important items are fast internet and good memory.
anybody recommend websites for buyin laptop?

To run Championship Manager you'll need at least 512Mb's of Ram, I've ran it with 256Mb's but the loading times were horrendous. I seriously doubt that you'll get a laptop with 512Mb's of Ram new or second hand for €600 though.

get yourself off to dell.ie and buy one on finance... a €2,000 laptop over 24 months is €100 per month including finance payments of about €400..

you could get a cheaper one on dell for about 1500 by taking away some of the features, but if you want the higher spec one you can spread out the payments... if you can afford it that is...
