Hey all, I am having a lot of problems with burning data onto cd-r and cd-rw. Sometimes the data will burn onto the disc but will turn out corrupted and sometimes the drive appears to be burning but when it finishes the disc comes out blank. Hey all, I am having a lot of problems with burning data onto cd-r and cd-rw. Sometimes the data will burn onto the disc but will turn out corrupted and sometimes the drive appears to be burning but when it finishes the disc comes out blank.

Im using Roxio Easy CD creator and a Dell cd/dvd drive. I would appreciate any help on this matter or if anyone else is having similar trouble.

What burning speed are the CD-R's rated at?

I know someone using the same setup who was having similar problems, but it was when he tried to burn Audio CDs.

I gave him Nero, and that seemed to burn every thing OK.

If that doesn't help, try burning at a slower speed.
