there's five last time i checked

(douglas adams wrote on the cover of mostly harmless "the fifth book in the increasingly
innacurately named hitch hikers guide to the galaxy trilogy"... have to love his sense of
    humor)

i kinda hope he doesnt release any more..
first 3 were incredible, 4th was good and
fifth wasn't really up to par.

There is 4 of them (or is it 5?). They're alright - it gets a bit crap after the second book.

I've of versions of th pangalactic gargle blaster - it involves putting a shot of every spirt behind a bar in a pint glass and trying not to die when you drink it.

And two months late, uhh, I arrive.

I've read the first four, and I love the restaurant and the end of the universe.

A gargleblaster sounds good to me, aye...

As for the increasingly inaccurately titled trilogy (of 5)... I've read the whole lot, perhaps 4 times over, and I will read them again. It's brilliantly written, fantastically funny, - he's got a wicked sense of humour!

If you like them, you'll probably like the Red Dwarf books, written by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor- written well before the TV series began, they're also quite hilarious.

as for the gargle blaster, - check out the Hitch-hikers guide website on that one... here biggrin.gif
