xbox wireless lan adapters?

Does anyone use a wireless lan with their xbox for multiplayer\cbox live? Do you have to buy a special adapter like this one : http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/xboxwirelessadapter.htm where can ye get em and how much? or are there any cheaper alternatives?

even though this is the game board you might get a better response on the broadband board as a good few poeple there use xbox live.

I have it but its wire, off topic but do you play on live much, at the moment i don't, and i am thinking of cancelling but with halo 2 round the corner ill wait and see how often i play it on live.
