Me too (sorry for piggybacking, ClonmelMan... ;))
    — but has to be a HP Inkjet (for reasons I won't go into... ;))
"Newsed" would do me, if the price is right.

'Cause that's what we use at work, see?

Those prices are unreal expensive . The top one i bough with my mates in col last yr for €80 in PC world and my dad bought the second one for €80 in Flor Griffins bout 3wks ago.For a printer better off shopping on foot, unless its a really good deal.

I've a HP 5150 printer here beside me. Theyre not the greatest, 57 and 58/56 cartridges aren't the cheapest to refill, but are quite easy to refill and fairly successful.

We've had problems with the printer since we started using it - getting big white lines (diagonal and horizontal) on printouts.

In my opinion, (I work in a cartridge refill shop), the Lexmark Z13/23 series are popular (16, 17, 26 and 27 cartridges). Easy to refill, and succesful if the cartridges are kept well.

Try get your hands on one those, or maybe an old HP (695 or 895 or so) that use the 78 and 45 cartridges - they should be cheap at this stage, and you get a decent page yield out of the cartridges.

Canon Bubblejets (eg. BCI21 cartridges) are decent alright, but I've had one at home for years, and it gets quite ****ed after a while. Cheap refill prices on the cartridges, and easy to refill.

Don't go near any of the new Epson printers - impossible to refill, and expensive to buy new cartridges.

the 5150 is a good printer nowadays. Older printers always had bigger cartridges, and the 5150 isnt too bad especailly for black ink. It has been replaced so u should find it cheap enuff, dont buy the new version of it (5814 i think) cos once again, cartridges are more expensive AND smaller ;) , oh yeh and i have NEVER on any printer EVER seen good, even acceptable results from refill cartridges.
