I have done it a good few times now. It is good fun. There was a thread somewhere a few months back with the same question and I think many people came back saying that some of the rally schools offered more fun for a similar price.
Regardless though - I enjoyed it each time I did it. However, I knew everyone else doing it at the time and therefore it made it that bit more competitive.

I've done it twice and highly recommend it.

Still can't break under the one minute lap !!!

I will be doing it with a mate so at least I will have someone to race....thanks for the feedback kbannon & demac.....Just wondering do you feel like you get enough laps or do you feel short changed.....also does an instructor sit in the car when you do your laps in the Rover 25....obviously he doesn't when you drive the single seater

I didn't have to pay for the times I did it!
However, yes, an instructor drives you around for 3 or 4 laps telling you the line then you drive him around for 5 or 6 laps and they tell you your faults, and how to improve, etc

Yes, it is good for the expreience but also as a taster. One guy went quick enough, he showed an interest in taking it further, so He tested a friends Vee, and then tested my Vee, got a licence and finished 4th in each race in my car on Oct 5th, and he would like to do the complete season next year. I instruct at Mondello, so we knew he was quick anyway, but like I said, if you are keen on competing, it gives you a taster.
