Can anyone recommend somebody who does readings preferably Angel Readings? I am currently out of work and am looking mainly for some guidance as to what I should try to do next or possibly if I should change career.

Has anyone come across anybody who they think is genuine and reliable for readings?
    Thanks.

    Hey there

A friend of mine does Angel Readings and is astonishingly accurate. She has read for me on a number of occasions and her advice is invaluable. She is based in Dublin and if you're interested I could put you in touch with her. She charges around €40 and does tarot readings as well.

I would be really interested in it but the chances of it all being absolute bull**** and you getting fleeced of 40yoyo is more likely.

don't know if this is relevant, but was talking with a friend last night who is into all things angely, collects angel cards n stuff and there is an american woman called Doreen Virtue, who apparantly is responsible for the whole angel card industry (not sure if thats true) but anyway, she is comming to the RDS in may. Tickets though are 75 squids which is a bit steep.

Why not buy yourself a set of angel cards?? Approx €22. You will get more answers from them and can use them everyday or whenever you have an important question. I have them and do my own readings, Doreen Virtue (as mentioned above) has a good set out - they are called Oracle cards. Any time you want to contact your angels or spirit guides, they will pass on messages through the cards. Why go to someone who will basically tell you what you can read yourself? The booklet explains each card.

I can read Tarot but not Angel cards...weird I know

Maybe I need a better set of Angel Cards?? I will try the Oracle cards...

Doreen Virtues cards are called 'Healing with the Angels' oracle cards

Those Doreen Virtue tickets are 115 euro's!!!
    Whats that all about?
I'm curious to know would you folk spend your 115 euro to see a psychic/guru and what do you think of the whole new age of commercial spirituality?
I'm not sure I'd pay that if JC himself was appearing at the point.

While I would describe myself as a 'believer', I have a healthy skepticism when it comes to commercial spirtuality. Theres no way Id pay 115 euro to see anyone, but hey, thats cheap compared to E15000 for a Tony Quinn seminar. I think anyone who is taking money for this kind of thing has to keep a firm grip on the real reason why they are doing it. When money becomes the focus, the spirituality ends.
As well as that there are SO many unscrupulous con artists that give the whole thing a bad name.

"thats cheap compared to E15000 for a Tony Quinn seminar."
I almost fell off my chair when I read that.
I don't expect anybody to work for nothing and I don't see any harm in exchanging 20 euro for a card reading or something of similar value, but it seems to me that commercial spirituality is elitist and only open to those who can afford it, which in my opinion negates the essence of the work.

Could hardly believe the Tony Quinn thing myself, but his next one is for two weeks in Italy if your interested ;) One of the problems with money making in psychic areas is that there is no policing of what goes on. Any paid medium or psychic worth their salt gives a money back guarantee.(true!)

2 weeks in Italy on a package holiday would cost no more than 1,500, add 200 for seminar... and really, where is the other 13,000 going?
    Jesus..I dunno.
A couple of weeks ago I was feeling a bit low and a friend who is studying reflexology reccomended that I have some treatment, so I arranged to go and see her teacher.
He was very nice and down to earth, no "psychic" bull**** involved, for over an hour I had my feet massaged till I was almost asleep, during that time we had a very relaxed and interesting discussion about life and just stuff in general.
I noticed all his certificates on the wall and there was one which caught my eye specifically, it was from trinity college where he has been decalred a doctor in alternative medicines. I find that very reasurring.
At the end of the process I went to get my money and he said not to worry about it, if you have a coin handy just give it to me. I did protest!.. but so did he and I gave him a two euro coin that was in my back pocket.
    /been feeling great since.
