to start off with I see that board is a AGP board, what you doing with a PCI-E card??

Sounds good except for the video card.

PCI Express is a new technology and I'm not sure if it will take off as expected. If it doesn't, you've effectively painted yourself into a corner when it comes to upgrading your video card. You'll end up getting a new mobo.

Re the case: I strongly recommend you to take a look at the range www.peats.ie have. Komplett.ie also does cases, but they really aren't great. Any PSU that comes with a case is worthless - buy a new decent one. www.elara.ie and www.komplett.ie are good places to start for these. As you said: stay away from Q-Tec

If you want a high end graphics card go for the 6800Gt it fit will that board if you get it AGP, not much point in getting PCI-E atm theres dosent seem to be much in performance compaired to AGP.

the 6800GT AGP is only a couple of frames slower than the 6800GT PCI-E and in some cases the AGP version is faster

Also this card is easliy flashed to the BIOS of an Ultra, which makes it a great card for overclocking.
