    Hi,
my friend has a credit not for compustore for 750. They gave it t her about 3 weeks ago and said they would send out a cheque in a few days.

She was just on to me and wants to know if there is any way of getting her money back.

I will imagine she will have to join the list of people that company owe money to.

Check a few pages back for some threads about compustore going bust. Some ex-employees of that hole post here and may be able to help you out.

I don;t think they;ve all closed down, so spend that credit note ASAP! Otherwise you'll probably lose it.

    Four Compustore shops cease trading

    October 26, 2004 19:34
Four Compustore shops in Dublin and Galway have ceased trading.

The shops, which specialised in computer and software products, failed to open for trading on Saturday.

A statement from the company's registered office says notice of a creditors meeting will be advertised in the press tomorrow.

Compustores in other parts of the country are not affected and remain in business.

Hey, used to work there, I'm afraid she'll have a bit of trouble getting her money back there tbh. The tech centre in Sandyford had a bunch of pc's in for repair, I reckon the owners will be very lucky to even get them back!

I'm owed money, but i'm not holding my breath....

Sorry to hear bout that man...that's a little bit less then I'm owed..not nice
    :(
