Well the title pretty much says tells you what im after... The game was on 2 disks i think and was based on the original series. Its not the one released on the A1200 that had you walking around planets ala monkey island! Anyone know what the hell i'm on about?

Not to doubt yuo, LoGiE, but are you sure it isn't the 25th Anniversary one that Rambo mentioned?

When you mentioned it being Monkey Island-like, it was the first one I thought of - and AFAIK I've played most of the Trek games.

Rambo's site didn't have any pictures - there are some shots of the game here: http://www.methodshop.com/tech/articles/StarTrek25th/index.shtml

I had an old DOS version of this one - always made me laugh cos at one point when you meet the alien, one of the options for first contact is for Kirk to say, "Hands up, Green and Scaly!" (which of course we always chose and Kirk proceeded to shoot the harmless guy!)
