    Hey,

    Been playing 10 years, studying jazz for the last 3 years in college, can adapt to a lot of different styles and can sing too. Just lost my part time jobs and i'm looking to do some paid gigs, if anyone needs a stand in guitarist for their band at short notice give me a shout and i'll do my best to help ya out. Based in south Dublin.

    Available for session work too.

    off topic but just wanted to ask u something
    im takin a year out at the mo gettin money together to go to new park (hopefully)
    the main reason i wanna go is obviously to further myself as a musician or whatever but one of the other major things was that i figured it would get me in touch with loads of decent musicians and gig contacts and stuff and, while music is always a dodgy place to make money, i thought it would put you in a loop alot as far as gigs and sessions and stuff were concerned?
    just wondering am i way off the ball on this cos ive heard u saying u did the whole newpark thing and u always seem to be on here looking for gigs:)

    Nah, it does put you in touch with good contacts and I do gig with people there sometimes, this post was just a general one, I'm not particularly looking for jazz gigs. The way I see it, the more gigs ya play the better? And the more people you ask the wider the variety of musicians you have to choose from, so I wouldn't just limit myself to Newpark, there are other great musicians who have contacts etc that didn't go to Newpark...
