Howdy,

Anyone have any problems with a Canon G5 battery, mines charges ok but when I try to turn on the camera, it's just plain dead.

I rang Canon Customer Services and they said I have used the battery too much, or been using the LCD screen, oh yeah, and had I been using the flash!!!! The battery is six months old and been recharged max a dozen maybe two dozen times!

Problem is I bought the camera in Singapore, anyone know if the warranty extends to here? If not, where is the best place to get a replacement.
