Predator DVD

    Saw this in HMV on Thursday and I couldn't resist, one of my favourite Arnie films. Brought it home, threw it in the DVD player, bog standard menu only with a trailer as an extra. No big deal, I really bought it for the film. Man am I disappointed. The sound is very good, but the picture is grainy in some places and they cut even more out of the DVD version then what I've seen on TV. The scene where Arnie throws a knife at the enemy "Stick Around" is cut. The bit where the black guy gets his arm blown off is cut even more on the DVD and of course you don't get to see his spine being ripped out.

    I'm really annoyed about this release. I mean, DVD's are supposed to be the best cinematic experience you can get in a home environment and they FOX go and release this pitiful version.

    If you really hate it that much, bring it back, HMV operate a policy so that you can bring back goods (as long as they're in perfect condition) if you don't like them. Get store credit or some such.

    i also got the predator DVD i was also really annoyed that they cut it so much and those grainy visuals are REALLY annoyin, i just wonder if the version u get in the boxset is the same cause i would definatly return it and get that instead (even though predator 2 sux)
